PT. KARYA PRIMA SUPLINDO (KPS) was established in 1986 and started off as a trading company serving the oil and gas industry in Indonesia. At the beginning, the company mainly dealt with products from local manufacturers. As more opportunities arose, KPS started to deal with imported products that serve the industry. In 1992, KPS took the first step to become the stockiest which is known today. In the early years, KPS focused only of carbon steel materials which include extensive variety of products from pipe, fitting, flange, valve and grating. In 2005, KPS decided to streamline the variety in order to keep other type materials like stainless steel. KPS also decided to deal with approved manufacturers that are accepted in the industry.

Today, KPS has the following range of stock materials:

KPS now has a subsidiary company, PT. MITRA PRIMA SUPLINDO (MPS), which is dealing with gasket product to complement the flanges. The focus is on Spiral Wound Gasket and Ring Joint Gasket. The products also come from approved manufacturer.

Apart from oil and gas industry, KPS nowadays also supply to geothermal, refineries, petrochemical, power plant, marine and other industries.
